Warwick High School teacher named Pa. Exemplary Computer Science Educator | Local News

A Warwick Large University math and engineering trainer was named this year’s Exemplary Computer Science Educator in Pennsylvania for his contributions to expanding the computer science industry for all pupils.

Jeffrey Wile gained the award at the 2022 #CSForAllPA Summit in late June. He was chosen from a pool of a few finalists, which involved Heather Hedderman of the Wattsburg Place University District and Elizabeth Woods of the Indiana Place University District, according to a Warwick College District information release.

All three finalists spoke as portion of a panel talking about their function in advancing laptop science possibilities in their respective districts and communities. Wile, for example, began a new regional Laptop or computer Science Teacher Association chapter that aided personal computer science academics connect to study alongside one another and from each other.

“Reflecting about the previous several a long time, I am thrilled with how considerably our pc science program at Warwick has grown and how Warwick students have taken edge to understand computing skills in my classroom,” Wile said in the information launch.

Still he attributes significantly of his success to his colleagues, the Warwick Faculty District administration, the local community and the Warwick Education Foundation.
