Apple offers first-ever public software beta for HomePod mini

For the first time, consumers interested in screening the HomePod software beta can now do so via the community Apple Beta Software package Program.&#13

Apple has provided pre-launch HomePod software for beta testers ahead of, but it was confined to an invite-only developer method named AppleSeed. Now, any one can implement to test the software package by using Apple’s general public Beta Program Application.&#13

HomePod Application Version 16 has been involved with the community betas for iOS 16, macOS Ventura, and the rest. It is only offered for the HomePod mini, indicating AppleSeed testers are the only types with access to pre-launch application for Apple’s authentic HomePod.&#13

It is just not obvious what new options are offered for tests in the HomePod Software package Edition 16 beta, but consumers can supply comments working with Apple’s Opinions Assistant application. Apple also asks end users to allow facts analytics sharing for HomePod by navigating to Configurations > Common > Privateness > Share Apple Television Analytics.&#13

To enroll a HomePod mini in the beta plan, use the Residence app. Open the Residence Configurations menu and find “Software Update.” Then choose which products you’d like to get beta software program updates.&#13

Enabling betas may direct to troubles working apps or software program on the HomePod, so only do so at your personal hazard. The HomePod will not have critical consumer info like a Mac or Iphone, but some beta bugs could render the smart speaker unusable.
